Warranty

Duration and nature of warranty
This warranty extends to genuine Bramblier basins and accessories for a period of
18 months from the date of dispatch. This warranty covers only defects in
materials and workmanship revealed during the applicable warranty period. This
warranty is predicated on the following conditions and exclusions, and the basin or
accessory being used wholly and solely for its intended purpose in a non-
commercial environment.
This same warranty extends to commercial environments with the same conditions
and exclusions for a period of 6 months from the date of dispatch.
As a specialist company providing personalised artisan services, the nature of our
hand-made process means that all our products are physically handcrafted. Whilst
pieces may be planned to be ostensibly the same, there will always be slight and
unique differences between pieces.
Dimensions, shape and colour will vary slightly from piece to piece, as such this
enhances the individuality and character of each product and is not considered a
defect, just part of that “Story”.
We take the utmost care and pride in our abilities to match required colours and
design, however, for a number of reasons there may be slight variations which do
not constitute a defect.

Surface characteristics such as pin holes generated or revealed during the
manufacturing process do not constitute a defect.
This warranty does not cover use of Bramstone products when applied outside the
strict indoor environment for which they were specifically created.
Bramstone basins require only the use of a flexible sealant during installation.
Inappropriate “hard set” non-flexible sealants such as Epoxies, Glue or Liquid
Nails should never be used. Application of any non-flexible sealant may cause
structural damage to the basin during the normal course of its use and render this
warranty void from the time of application.

Limitation of warranty
This warranty is not transferable from the original purchaser and only applies to
goods paid for in full.
This warranty is limited to the replacement, repair, or exchange of a product, solely
due to any defect at the time of manufacture and such defect being revealed during
the warranty period.
In the unlikely event there is a warranty claim, each claim is considered by
Bramstone on a case-by-case basis prior to approval by Bramstone.
The purchaser shall:
  • Notify Bramstone within 7 days of originally becoming aware of the issue
  • and within the relevant warranty period,
  • Forward to Bramstone the product claimed to be defective.
Further, this warranty shall not apply if:
  • The product has been modified after dispatch from Bramstone,
  • Prompt and reasonable steps to prevent the defect from becoming more
  • serious are not taken immediately upon discovery and remain in place,
  • The product is repaired by a third party.

General damage
General damage is not covered by this warranty. This includes damage or defects
from any cause regardless of intent, or manner of storage. This also includes but is
not limited to: Installation processes, application of force, bearing of a load, water
damage, extremes of temperature change, modifications or repairs made after
receipt, non-fit for purposes use, chemical action, use of an abrasive.

Wear and Tear
Conditions, defects or other aesthetic issues generally associated with normal wear
and tear are not covered by this warranty.
Warranty Claim Process
1. Notify Bramstone with your concern,. We will respond within 3 business
days.
2. If the claim is to be progressed, Bramstone shall first receive the product
subject of a claim at their warehouse and be confirm that it meets the criteria
prior to enacting this warranty.
a. Any, and all removal and return transport costs to Bramstone, remain
the responsibility of the purchaser.
b. Any, and all reinstallation costs due to a successful warranty claim,
remain the responsibility of the purchaser.
c. If a warranty claim is upheld, Bramstone will provide free return
freight.


Use of Product
Bramstone shall not be liable in any event, for any direct, incidental, consequential,
indirect or punitive damages of any kind, including without limitation, damage to
property, inconvenience, loss of goodwill, lost profit or other financial loss, loss of
use of the product, or claim for damages resulting from any use of the product.

Review Process
If you are unhappy with our decision, you must notify us within 7 days, in writing,
and in factual detail not already considered as to why you are dissatisfied. We will
further consider your claim in good faith. After this further consideration process,
we will review our decision and advise you. This decision is then considered
Bramstone’s final decision.
