Installation

Proper installation of your Bramstone basin is crucial for long-lasting performance and beauty. Follow these guidelines for a successful installation:

Positioning the Basin

Choose a height and position that is comfortable for the end user.
Always keep the basin upright during handling - do not place it on its side, as this may cause damage.

Handling the Basin

To avoid scratches or damage, use clean towels or gloves when handling.
Avoid placing tools or sharp objects inside the basin during installation.

Sealing the Basin

Run a continuous bead of 100% clear silicone sealant around the perimeter where the basin meets the benchtop to create a watertight seal.
Do not use epoxy, liquid nails, or any rigid adhesives, as these will void the warranty and may cause cracks over time.

Waste Line Connections

Ensure the waste height aligns with your chosen waste system.
Use rubber seals on both the top and bottom of the waste to prevent leaks.
Do not overtighten the waste fittings, as excessive force may cause cracking, which is not covered under warranty.

Installation Surface Requirements

Ensure the benchtop or mounting surface is flat, clean, and dry before installation.
Check weight capacity: Verify that the surface can easily support the weight of the basin and all intended uses.
DO NOT stand on or apply physical or mechanical force to the basin.

Final Check & Testing

Allow the silicone sealant to fully cure according to the manufacturer’s instructions before using the basin.
Test for leaks: Run water through the basin and check the waste connections for any leaks before regular use.
Once in regular use, periodically check for moisture under the basin to prevent the supporting surface becoming unstable.

Ideal For: Combining multiple hues from your palette without committing to a solid colour.

Terrazzo & Marbled Mix

All Over Pattern: Created with layering of marbling and terrazzo.

Design Options: Works well on shapes with viewable sides to capture the patterns.

Ideal For: Matching in with existing marbled and terrazzo tiles. Statement piece basin. Creates a very natural layered "earth" effect.

Shell Chips

All Over Pattern: Created with single base colour and shell chips.

Design Options: From light to dark coloured base with 5 shell chip options.

Ideal For: A natural terrazzo style fleck, adds interest. Shimmer and shine from light reflections on the chips.

Shell Chips & Marbling Split

Thirds Pattern: Created with marbling or shell terrazzo.

Design Options: From light to dark coloured base with 5 shell chip options or marbled pattern - both with a band section.

Ideal For: A natural marbling or terrazzo style using the band at the bottom to form a "break" from a busy vanity top pattern. Shimmer and shine from the chips.
